The core of the selected poems in this volume are those poems which shaykh Salih mentioned should be in the heart of every student. They fundamentally outline the relationship of the seeker with the shaykh and the connection of the seeker to the Prophet ﷺ and Ahl al-Bayt in this path. They are:

3) al-Ja’fari Has Hope in Your Love
4) Blessing and Peace O My Lord
5) Seeking Means Through Ahl al-Tariqa.
