Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari says:
“The person of remembrance continues the dhikr of la ilaha illa Allah until his heart hears it and responds to it. Thus when the dhikr moves from his tongue to his heart; his limbs, organs and veins all make dhikr along with his heart. This continues until he hears everything in his presence saying: la ilaha illa Allah.”
