Detailed biography of Shaykh Salih, as related by him in his lessons and correspondence with family members and students; gathered by his son and inheritor, Shaykh Abd al-Ghani al-Ja’fari. The second half of the book takes an in-depth look at the Shaykh’s methodology, advice and stance towards progress on the spiritual path.
THE FRIDAY LESSONS AT AL-AZHAR (Dars al-Jumu’a bi l-Azhar): Volumes 1 and 10
Collection of lessons delivered by Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari after the congregational Friday prayer at Masjid al-Azhar, preserved in 10 volumes; dealing with prevalent societal issues, historical stories and anecdotes of scholars, and religious and spiritual matters.
