This book brings together the daily awrad and salawat of Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari, founder and guide of al-Tariqa al-Ja’fariyya al-Ahmadiyya al-Muhammadiyya. It is intended as a practical devotional companion for students of the path and for those seeking to become familiar with the regular litanies associated with his spiritual method.

These awrad form an important part of the daily discipline of the tariqa, combining remembrance of Allah, supplication, and prayers upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Through regular recitation, they are intended to nurture the heart, strengthen spiritual resolve, and support the aspirant in maintaining consistency on the path.

Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari emphasised the central place of the shaykh’s awrad in spiritual training, describing them as remedies and nourishment for those travelling the path. He likened them to vitamins that strengthen, a healing balm that restores, and a means by which the soul is guided and the spirit strengthened.

He further taught that the awrad are the student’s way and door to spiritual arrival, as well as a source of relief and divine bounty. In this sense, the collection is not only a book of daily recitations, but a structured programme of spiritual practice intended to accompany the seeker throughout the journey to Allah.
