Shaykh Ṣāliḥ says:
‘It is necessary for every disciple travelling on this path to rush to review the books of his guide in order that he attains harmony between the two souls, and they are pulled together. “Between them is a barrier they cannot transgress” . He will attain experiential knowledge which is not in books. It is necessary for you to search for the reality in between the lines, and perhaps it may spread over the hearts and then from the lines something descends that removes delusions. Then your happiness comes, “So with that, let them rejoice. It is better than what they gather.” What a great difference there is between one union and another, and one hearing and another, “Join me to Him,” “In the station of Audition.” Be wary of being heedless of this indication, the phrase becoming obscured for you, or the evil-commanding self ruling over you. Our trade is the best business and has the greatest profit, and the one who profits will never lose.’
