We saw Mawlana Shaykh Abd al-Ghani praying for his noble mother (the wife of Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari) when she was sick. He would encourage his family and the brothers to adopt this methodology to pray for those who are sick and unwell.
Recite:
- Ya Latif × 129
- Surah Ya-Sin (with its du‘a)
- Ya Latif × 129 (Read twice, so a total of 258 for #3).

Shaykh Muhammad Salih al-Ja’fari adds (as a du‘a for all the Muslims and believers):
We implore Allah the Great, Lord of the Throne Most Great, to cure all those who are sick or have mental and physical burdens, with a complete healing, relief and cure.
O Allah! Bless our master Muhammad, the medicine of hearts and their cure, the well-being of bodies and their healing, and the light of our eyes and their illumination.
Ameen.
